Included in every visit — and what is not
Shed assembly starts with the kit, prepared base and delivery route. Send the model, dimensions and instructions, plus photos of the base and narrowest gate or passage. The finished footprint alone does not show whether panels can reach the garden.
We assemble wooden, metal, plastic and resin sheds, bike stores and garden boxes on a suitable existing base. Have all panels and fixings delivered before the visit. Base construction, soil levelling, drainage and electrical work are outside standard shed assembly.

£75 minimum visit. Evening work after 6pm and Sunday work is about 10% extra, rounded to the nearest £10. Materials are additional and always agreed first.

Shed Assembly — frequently asked questions
Do you build the base as well?
No. We build on an existing level base — slabs, concrete or a timber frame. Tell us what you have and we will say whether it is suitable before booking.
Can you build a metal or plastic shed?
Yes. Metal and plastic sheds have many small fixings and usually take a similar time to a wooden shed of the same size.
How long does a 6x4 shed take?
Around three hours for a small wooden shed with a good base. Larger sheds are nearer five hours and go faster with two people.
What if it rains on the day?
Light rain is usually workable. In heavy rain or high wind we will reschedule rather than fit panels and felt in conditions that spoil the finish.
Do you treat or paint the shed?
Timber treatment is not part of the build. Our painting service is interior only, so exterior shed painting is not offered under it.
Do you need access through the house?
Side or rear access is ideal. If panels must come through the house, tell us in advance so we can protect floors and doorways.
