What this service covers

Painting (Inside Only) by Hello Handy

Hello Handy paints inside your home only — walls, ceilings, doors, frames, skirting and woodwork. Every visit starts by protecting floors and furniture, masking edges and filling the small dents and cracks that would otherwise show through a fresh coat.

You choose one, two or three painters and how many hours you want, so a single feature wall and a full room refresh both work the same way. We are not exterior decorators and we do not take on flooring, so the whole visit stays focused on the rooms you live in.

  • Walls & ceilings with crisp edges
  • Woodwork & skirting board finishes
  • Doors & frame painting
  • Seamless touch-ups & patch painting
  • Mess-free room refreshes

Included in every visit — and what is not

Always included

  • Walls, ceilings, doors, frames and skirting
  • Rubbish bagged and the room left tidy

  • The movers handled my furniture with care and professionalism. They disassembled and assembled our wardrobe really quickly. And shout out to the young men who had to carry our very heavy cabinet up the stairs!

    Barry Tam

  • Used this company for assembly of a pair of sliding mirrored IKEA doors on a cupboard. I normally enjoy my DIY and assemble things myself but these are very complex and tricky to put together, especially if you are on your own. The guys arrived on time, were friendly & polite, they assembled the doors and even fixed the cupboard to the wall in good time and end result looks amazing. Thank you Hellohandy!

Other Hello Handy services

Painting (Inside Only) — frequently asked questions

Do you supply the paint?

Usually you supply the paint so the colour and finish are exactly what you want. If you would rather we buy it, tell us the brand and colour and we agree the material cost with you before we shop.

Do you paint outside walls or fences?

No. Hello Handy painting is interior only. Exterior walls, fences, render and roofs are outside our service.

How many hours should I book to paint a room?

A small room with walls and ceiling is usually around five hours for one painter. Two painters halve the time on site. The estimator suggests hours for you and you can adjust them.

Will you fill holes and cracks first?

Yes. Small dents, nail holes and hairline cracks are filled and sanded as part of preparation. Large plaster repairs or damp need a specialist first.

Can you work in the evening or on a Sunday?

Yes. Evening work after 6pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday work between 8am and 6pm is about 10% extra, rounded to the nearest £10.

What if the job takes less time than booked?

Your final bill is based on the time actually spent on site, with the two-hour minimum applied. Booked hours are an estimate, not a fixed charge.
